Clinical Operations At Sea (COAST) is a reimagined conference experience for clinical research professionals, designed to break away from the traditional hotel ballroom and create space for authentic connection, creativity, and growth. Blending interactive workshops, thought-provoking discussions, and skill-building sessions with unique networking opportunities, themed experiences, and wellness activities, COAST delivers more than education, it delivers transformation. This one-of-a-kind event is built to strengthen knowledge, spark collaboration, and reenergize professionals so they return with practical strategies to accelerate trials, stronger industry relationships, and the confidence to lead change in clinical operations.
After our inaugural sailing last year, we received feedback on the most impactful sessions, experiences, and the overall structure of
Clinical Operations At Sea (COAST).
For 2026, we are focusing on Mental Health, Wellness, and Connection, focusing on COAST being a retreat this year rather than a conference. We have also made this a shorter trip, Thursday evening through - Monday morning so more people can attend without missing a lot of work. We are so excited for this newly imagined experience and hope that you will join us August 27 - 31, 2026!
